The Guide to Booking Wedding Vendors
1. Choose Your Destination
Before you start booking anyone, choose your wedding location.
Italy, Spain, Greece, France, Morocco—each destination offers a different vibe, vendor pool, and logistics. This will determine your guest list size, travel arrangements, and ultimately, the style of your entire wedding weekend.

2. Book Your Wedding Planner
Your wedding planner will be the most important vendor behind the whole planning process, especially if you're from abroad. They’ll handle logistics, vendor negotiations, schedules, and the 1000 things you didn’t even know needed to be done.
There are two ways to go about this:
You can book your photographer or videographer first (more on that below) and ask them to recommend a planner they regularly work with.
Or: You start with a planner who will send you curated suggestions from their trusted network.
If you're unsure where to start, get in touch with me and receive a list of planners who work in the right wedding region and match your expectations.
3. Lock in the Venue
Together with your planner, secure a venue that fits your aesthetic and logistical needs. Private villas on Lake Como or exclusive riads in Marrakech - wanted venues book at least 12–18 months to two years or more in advance. Don't delay.
P.S. If you’re planning a wedding for next year and it’s already March or April, you're already late in the booking window!

4. Book Your Photographer & Videographer
You have two choices here:
If you already have a photographer or videographer in mind, inquire early—ideally 12 to 24 months in advance. Photographers book out quickly for destination weddings, especially on weekends.
If you haven’t chosen one yet, your planner can send you portfolios from trusted professionals that match your vision, personality, and budget.
