Why getting married in Morocco is a great idea
Morocco is a beautiful country with pristine beaches, soaring mountains, and the famous Sahara desert. It's also one of the most romantic destinations in the world. If you're getting married and want to get away from it all but still have an elegant ceremony with style and sophistication, Morocco may be your ideal location. Here are 5 wedding types and very convincing reasons why you should consider getting married in Morocco!
The beach wedding
A beach wedding, to most people, is the ultimate dream wedding. Morocco has a lot of beautiful beaches and you can have your ceremony there. However, if you don't want to have a full-on beach wedding with sand between your toes and saltwater in your eyes (or if it's too cold), there are also plenty of other options for Moroccan weddings on the coast. The weather will usually be good during October, but check beforehand because Morocco does get rain sometimes!
The desert wedding
You've heard the saying, "The desert is a harsh mistress." And while this may be true, it's also gorgeous and full of life. The warmth of the sun will give you energy as you walk through the dunes, and your heart will open up as you gaze upon Mother Nature at her finest.
You can have your wedding anywhere in Morocco - in fact, it's probably best if you don't get married in a city because then everyone will just complain about how traffic was bad and there were no parking spots available (and maybe even some other stuff). But when choosing an outdoor location for your nuptials with friends and family members who aren't used to traveling outside their own country? The desert wins every time!
The city wedding
You can get married in the medina, the old city, or new city. The suburbs are also an option if you want a more rustic feel to your wedding day.
The mountain wedding
The mountain wedding is a great option for couples who want a romantic, intimate wedding. The ceremony can be held in a hotel or on a private estate. The location offers breathtaking views, so you'll have plenty of photos to remember your big day by!
The countryside wedding
The country offers many options for outdoor weddings including vineyards, olive groves and gardens - all of which provide wonderful backdrops for photos! The weather will also be more predictable than in urban areas like Marrakech where there are often sudden changes from hot summer days into rainy evenings (or vice versa). Plus there will be less people around so you'll feel less overwhelmed during preparations and the wedding day itself - leaving plenty of time for relaxation afterwards when everyone heads off into town together!
You can have an amazing luxury wedding in Morocco!
